A few flashback scenes and everyone forgets how bad and stupid the rest of this episode / show overall has been. Such a waste of potential
I mean the fact that you can see David Prowes eyes through the lenses in Ep4 should take you out the narrative
The fact that Mark Hamill had face scars that are BARELY explained by the Wampa should take you out the narrative
Vader having eye brows should've taken everyone out the narrative in 1983
Ewoks beating the s*** out of storm troopers with pebbles in ROTJ is no different from Tala fighting the storm troopers in ep4 of Kenobi and should've taken you out the narrative
see where I'm going with this...
Yeah and those are all fair criticisms
I think you are over stating the amount of weight these criticisms carry
How did the b**** not die?... She got stabbed in the stomach... why didn't Vader kill her?

bro, aside from outspoken starwars haters
the show is great, seriously...
Reva is a better inquisitor than the fricken green guy with the sombrero
Leia is actually cute as hell and can actt
The story makes sense, even tho its not what YOU wanted to happen between ep3/4
the fact that Reva is a young-ling survivor is awesome
and everything we've gotten with Vader is perfect.
my group chats are legit geeking out and super enthused about this latest episode and it's creating those must-see watercooler moments that us SW fans love and talk about in-depth
guys...have..fun..with this.
So what it's not the Breaking Bad of SW that most wanted.
why does qui gon die but not reva lmao. Even as a youngling too she got stabbed unless it just made us think Anakin stabbed her
She's got superpowers lollll
Great f***ing ep. This is the show's reason for existence
They could've had quality like this in 6 episodes... but no they wait until episode 5 LOL just so they can add annoying little Leia
Reva’s b**** ass really thought she could pull a fast one on Vader
Dumbest character in Star Wars history. Worse than Jar Jar
if "fall back to the second position" is the command 3 seconds after the door is breached then wtf was the point of first position
So there could be an action scene requested by Kathleen Kennedy
"then get me a ladder"
ENOUGH
Seriously get her the f*** out of this show. Now it's going to have her on Tattoine watch and that's not even suppose to happen lmfao
I am stunned that all it took was one flashback scene to get people calling this a "good episode"
I liked seeing Hayden as much as the next guy but we also had "Vader randomly being merciful and sparing Reva's life because surely that won't come back to bite him in the ass" and "journeyman electrician Leia" this episode like what show are we watching
The 10 year old saved the rebels LMFAO
So it’s good?
If you like nostalgia. The writing is still brutal. Reva is even more dumb if that's possible
Dumbest character in Star Wars history. Worse than Jar Jar
Too far
It's like 85-90% amazing with 10-15% horrible scenes and writing and lines and CGI and plot motivation thrown in
You got it the other way around..
The entire concept is goofy though
Bail would have better security around her knowing everything that’s happened
It’s such a convoluted concept and forced.
What's even more embarrassing is Bails security is so awful that it couldn't handle power ranger villains

Just because the story makes sense doesn’t mean that it’s an interesting or well told story.
There’s no tension in this show whatsoever, there are some absolutely ridiculous and idiotic moments with the writing, and we’ve literally already gotten two seasons of this “protect and return the kid” storyline in The Mandalorian.
The CGI has been laughable throughout every episode, the supporting cast of characters is not memorable nor noteworthy outside of Reva, but even she is so hampered down by plot armor and horrific writing that it’s a travesty because she has the potential to be a really cool character.
The writing in this show has been insufferable. Character decisions have made no sense. I don’t think some cool cameos, flashbacks, and “watercooler moments” are enough to completely ignore that. You can “have fun” with a show and still have it be a competently well-made series. The first two episodes of Ms. Marvel for example completely blow the entire Obi Wan series out of the water.
The people thinking that Episode 5 redeems this entire show are the same people who just want cool cameos and character appearances and not actually well-made and well-written content.
Great all it took was s***ty fan service to make the prequel stans act like this is actually worth watching
I mean it Was a good episode after what we've been getting so far. Of course we were going to see a flashback scene. Why else have Hayden in this show. Its what we've been waiting for and it took 5 episodes out of 6 to see it. We're not saying that the show is saved now.
