Before Disney owned Star Wars, all I knew about Star Wars was the movies and a few episodes of Clone Wars so what is canon and isn't canon isn't a huge deal to me.

hoopsplayer21something about the way kenobi speaks in this series just feels off to me too. different from the prequels. it’s like all of his lines are so brief and robotic kinda, and not just talking about the writing, his cadence and tone just both feel odd.
I definitely noticed that with this episode. Idk if it’s intentional or not tho

Jun 16, 2022·4 repliesTheir biggest issue is they've made it a story driven series (saving Leia) rather than a character driven one (how Obi wan and vader are dealing with the fallout of ROTS).
There are glimpses where they focus on that part but 90% of the plot revolves around Reva (she literally closes every ep by progressing the plot) and Leia (who we know is fine). You don't market the Obi Wan show around Leia and Reva man. It's about HIM not them.
They should of just left out the twins and focused on Obi Wan and how hes dealing with hiding etc. Have the inquisitors be Vaders lackeys rather than characters with s*** 'arcs'
Show them hunting the Jedi. Show them serving Vader. Show Vader losing his s*** and still mourning Padme. Show Obi Wan feeling helpess as he can't help Tattoine farmers without revealing he's a Jedi. Have him reunite with his girl

Exactly and the most annoying part of this is that they don’t even give us anything new to learn about Leia as a character.

Yup. The flashback training scenes were connected to how everything played out in that scene

Obi Wan said she wasn’t hunting him she was hunting Anakin. She got pretty close to him multiple times was she waiting to completely gain his trust by giving him Obi Wan? But then she abandons that plan by letting Obi Wan go and trying a sneak attack
Obi Wan used her. Reva thought Obi would be waiting inside and they could fight him together, but he dipped on her :hah:
