Marvel Entertainment is pretty well run and they have a clear direction on where they want to go with their stories. While the Lucasfilm division not so much, and that starts with Kathleen Kennedy

Gonna be interesting to see how they explain why Vader doesn’t throw the entire Empire at Obi Wan if he finds out where he is.

Wait so this will have Vader in it?

It takes place before Ep 3 or after?

i think its supposed to be 10 years after episode 3

Anyone ever think about how strange it is that all this stuff is coming back?

Like for a lot of people you were legit like 'yup that franchise/career is over'

Then damn near 20 years later theyre back on the map because they reprised some nostalgic role.

Really surreal to be in the age bracket were literally the whole world is marketing to you and your nostalgia.

    Makes me feel old

this is a cool concept and im sure itll be good but.....

Disney needs to stop f***ing with the history of star wars just to make these big event fights to get s*** stirred on twitter.

Like this obi wan and darth fight is just gonna dilute the power of the Revenge of the sith fight and the New Hope fight.

I dont take anything Disney does as canon but still its annoying theyre just trying to create these memeable moments

Nothing can dilute obi leaving Ani for dead with 3 of his 4 limbs missing

Damn that's sick. I thought it would be pre Ep 3, but that would require way too many old actors i just realized

I wonder how HC will work... will he be vader in the suit? Will it be flashbacks?

I know they still got James Earl Jones for the voice...

Imagine they bring back Samuel Jackson just to drop Star Wars' first ever f-bomb

    Would unironically be legendary.

yeah but theres no need for them to fight again

its just to create a viral twitter moment and suck in viewers

I know this is an old post so sorry, I just wanted to put it out there I think it makes sense that Obi-Wan and Vader couldn't just ignore each other for a couple decades.

Vader blames Obi-Wan for Padme's death and his own disfigurement.

Obi-Wan blames himself for ignoring the cautions of the other Master Jedi and training Anakin.

Would Vader really just forget about Obi-Wan and never go looking for revenge, especially considering one of his duties under Palpatine is to hunt the remaining Jedi around the galaxy?

Would Obi-Wan just sit idly by and drink tea on Tattooine while his former protege slaughters Jedi and other allies?

I mean isnt Obi wans goal to protect Luke? Kind of a risk going to save other jedi who are capable of fending for themselves. It wasnt a stated duty

I know this isnt the cinematic choice but logically it makes sense

I could see Vader hunting obi wan down though
