treemanYou nailed it idk why people try to act like it’s even top 6 Star Wars. Leia should’ve died, rose tico shouldn’t exist, Rey Finn and Poe should’ve been together, snoke shouldn’t have died, they made my boy luke the biggest b**** (I do appreciate his redemption but he should’ve had his green saber in the projection fight). Other than that it’s cool it’s got some beautiful visuals and Adam driver bodied his role. RJ gave JJ a mess to work with

I still think that’s Reves character is getting a weird amount of backlash for “poor writing” and “poor acting”
She’s is completely on the same level as everyone else in this productionI rewatched both eps today and people definitely being overly critical. Her yelling at the ship flying away is funny and running across the rooftops was pointless but she’s just a hot head and on vaders d***, it’s not that deep like mfs are making it

when he died, it was more of a "wtf???? are you serious?" for me. Like all that build up for a character just to get taken out like that?

agree with all of this, it’s bad at times but not as bad as people make it. feels sorta similar to the chase scenes being like 1 minute of screen time but all anyone’s complaining about

The fact he was killed went perfect with kylos ideals of creating a new path
It was amazing
It was also a slap in the face to people nostalgia surfing story points .

It felt fresh for Star WarsRian was killing all of the retreads that Force Awakens created and it was sick. Just for JJ to go to the ultimate retread in episode 9 and bring Palpatine back
