Not sure what else he’d feature in tbh. This was the one gap we never saw Obi wan in despite the brief cameo in rebels.
Keep.
F*** a franchise.
Lemme know if this has any soul in it.
Old man Jonboi comin out now, but f***, you gotta stand for something sometimes.
Only one season
It’s interesting that it’s one season. How do they fill in the gaps between the first episode and just before ANH? Probably a time jump by the last episode?

that is also true but they can always figure something out tbh
I am keeping my expectations as low as possible
Always a good thing going into a movie/series. I think they’ll smash it out the park but when people go in hoping for certain things to happen and it doesn’t pan out, they’re disappointed.
Obi wan is arguably my favourite Star Wars character, please let this be good. I loved Ewan as obi the first time around.

This is such a long time in the making, I don't know if it will live up to star wars fan expectations. The fans have already made a version of this in their head.

Kenobi is a crown jewel in Star Wars lore especially now with his own series, they’ll treat it like that (imo).
But you’ll never be able to please everyone. But I don’t think we should worry about Kenobi. Just need that trailer now.

The lead writer's credits don't instil a lot of hope imdb.com/name/nm1703612

Thankfully the bar for writing in SW is pretty low. Fans fw ROS so if the writing is up to par with those projects, it’ll get praise lmao

Exactly. Star Wars isn’t Lord of the Rings/high-brow story telling. But I think people have come to expect that of the franchise for whatever reason so they feel let down sometimes.

I usually reserve judgment on a show/movie until after I watched it so as to not expect something specific of it. I just trust that they’ll do justice to Kenobi/Anakin.
Have a feeling we won’t get one, but the slightest chance I’d want a trailer during the Super Bowl

idk about that.
they've done stupid s*** with luke and boba fett. no one is off limits. if the writing for this trends just like most of the disney plus content, obi wan is gonna look like a fool one way or the other.
no character is untouchable when it comes to them just writing ridiculous stupid s***.

I didn’t mind what they did to Luke in the movies, despite it being divisive but that’s another conversation which I’ve entertained too many times.
They’re using the story between Episode 3 and 4, we know Obi-Wans character doesn’t change that much as we saw him in rebels (despite his appearance changing).
So they’re basically just going to tell us what’s happening between the PT/OT rather than developing someone’s character arc aka Luke/Boba in eras we’ve never seen before.
