I think the takeaway from both this and the extended period of time Ronaldo went without a KO goal is that it’s a relatively small sample playing against very good teams that are trying not to concede more than anything and are focusing on the star players. It doesn’t really reflect your talent level if you’re a star and struggling in WC KO games. It happens.
