OrangutanI do feel pretty anti-imperialist, so I can get down with the commies on that
It also seems pretty clear that whatever stage of capitalism we're in now in the US is not ideal
I don't think I'm really against the idea of markets and money, but the constant drive to squeeze the maximum amount of cash out of consumers while offering the lowest quality product possible seems like it can't go on forever
Not to mention the growing wealth gap and increasing power of the individuals with the money
idk I certainly don't have the answer for it. Things could be worse, and I'm definitely thankful for the position that I'm in.
I feel like their hearts are in the right place and I agree with a lot of their opinions I am just not sure how they would expect us to ever reach a point where how they want it to work is actually how it works

there are loads of solutions to those problems though that have a much, much higher chance of working out than a revolution tho!
and the usa is an oligopoly funded by war, its not a good example of what capitalism with proper guardrails could be.
in the present day, unless we go back to bartering goods and double coincidence of wants, money will always be nescesary.

crazy that their biggest problem seems to be getting too much dip on their chip with hard pushing education, leading to a younger generation that's overeducated and parents that refuse to let their kids become a "laborer"
Pretty sure they deadass banned tutors like 5 years ago and now there's a black market for tutoring because parents are still that competitive
So now you have a bunch of young people with degrees that worked their asses off with nothing to show for it, and a plunging birthrate because having kids is so expensive and the young people are already demoralized
