yeah my understanding is they helped popularized more abstract art and modern art behind the scenes, because at the time russia was making more of a continuation of 1800s realism. the were excellent too.

but modern art was organically going in that direction anyway. from monet to van gogh to picasso it was the next logical step to get even more abstract.

its not like it wouldnt of happened without them, they just helped it, to make russia seem behind on the times.

im sure the cia still influences music, movies and videogames etc, they collab with hollywood and videogame industry to make spy movies and military movies seem appealing as propaganda. They have a say in what the algorithms on social media show and popularize, lots of popular music probably collabs with them to for propaganda.

at the time they didnt really know that. they were stuyding using it as a truth serum.

agents were dosing eachother without eachothers knowledge to test the effects, they were dosing random people on the street with massive doses.

once they realized it didnt work like that, they associated it with the anti war left and made it illegal, to damage that movement
