What I love about paintings it’s they never get old
Like if you had to watch the same movie every morning and every night or listen to the same song every morning and every night, eventually it would be annoying no matter how good it is
But you can have a painting hung in you room and see it everyday since you were born, die in the room with it and it still be great to look at
Paintings and drawings unique in that way
But they don’t have the immediate gratification of video games, movies, music etc so it’s a trade off
