Emulation on xbox can be a little sketchy but it's doable

Backwards compatibility is a huge plus for microsoft but I'm not sure how long they can keep it up. The compatible Xbox OG and 360 games are a curated (but robust) list, and all of the games had to be tweaked and tuned to work on the modern consoles actively emulating a 360 or OG xbox.

But backwards compatibility is starting to become less of a plus with how many games are live service compared to single player now.

You have to install the game regardless you can’t just insert the physical disc and instantly play.

2 gens behind was a little harsh on my part. The switch 2 gets crafty with the nvidia hardware and makes very good use of it. Other gaming companies could take some notes from Nintendo's software and hardware optimization.
