I love cult documentaries. I think apart of the reason is because I know I couldn’t fall for one so I feel smarter than these poor people that do. It’s not right.
This is what everyone says until they end up in a cult
certainly no complaints on my behalf

DUNU DK3001BD
reads like some no name rapper @Prince would praise itt
Most people just call them the DUNU Braindance, that's what the BD stands for
but I have the Effect Audio retune, not the OG Braindance!
certainly no complaints on my behalf

For sure
Worth noting that those are just the ones I've tried, I didn't love all of them even though they're all well regarded.
DO NOT feel obligated to read or reply to all of this, it's just here for your reference
Hidizs MP145 is a great all-rounder imo because you have so many options to tweak the tuning. Still in my collection, crazy crazy value for the money. Love the way these sound.
FATfreq x HBB Deuce is a subbass monster, so it's fun for modern rap, but it can really be too much at times. The subbass is beyond ridiculous, but it does a good job of not muddying up the rest of the frequency range. Midbass felt a little weak in comparison to me. Ended up returning these.
KiwiEars Quintet is super detailed and separated for the price, but it just sounded super artificial to my ears, could also get harsh in the upper midrange and treble iirc. Returned these quickly, but a lot of people like them.
DUNU x Gizaudio Davinci was cool for a bit. Had nice heavy subbass without getting way too crazy. Pretty natural sound iirc. Ended up selling these because I didn't use them enough
Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk was my first serious IEM, but these days it's not even being sold anymore and is outclassed at its original retail price. It was pretty neutral across the board with a little bit of a bass hump. I enjoyed it, very "correct" sounding and inoffensive, but super-neutral is boring to my ears. For other people, neutral with a minor bass boost is the best thing in the world.
Xenns Mangird Tea Pro SE is a retuned version of the Tea Pro with upgraded treble tweeters. I've never heard an IEM sound so unbelievably wide, with so much space between the instruments and sounds. Midbass is a little quiet, which is necessary to get that insane space and separation. Everything sounds beautifully "natural" and real. My main gripe is male vocals and bass guitar sounding a bit thin, but it's not even close to a deal breaker. Your ears and brain adjust within a week. Plenty of subbass on these things without ever getting too nuts with it. Sounds like you're listening to some rich people s***.
DUNU DK3001BD x Effect Audio is a retuned version of the DK3001BD to add more lower midrange and bass, + new damping system to smooth out the highs. Haven't heard the original, but apparently it could get really, really bright in the high end. A lot of people loved it and a lot thought it was unlistenably painful. Retuned version I have apparently fixes these issues. For me, the upper mid range could get pretty painfully sharp, and there was really bad sibilance on okay or poor vocal recordings. I was able to fix all of this by putting the Final Audio Type E eartips on them, and I enjoy these a ton now. Soundstage is wide, though not as nearly wide as the tea pro SE. Separation is and layering is unbelievable (Final Audio Type E tips can make fast bass guitar lines bleed together a bit, and subbass heavy songs can get pretty muddy across the board because these tips do a lot to increase the entire lower half of the frequency range, so it's a trade off)
