The art was really cool, especially the few pages of art at the end. The story was alright. I mean, it’s only the first intro volume so in that context, it was good. I did find this comic much wordier than the others. Seemed like Mike Mignola was trying to fit 6 paragraphs into every text bubble. Hellboy is a cool character, I’ve seen the movie. He isn’t as funny or witty in the comic but maybe that comes later. I’d keep reading it to see, was enjoyable.
