Tuneoutya ppl love it.
i tried mobas when league came out. i played dota 2 for like only a couple hundred hours when it was released. but i just couldnt get into them.
credit to them for blowing up esports and streaming tho. they took it to another level for sure!

i think a lot of my aversion is that its a team game. i dont like playing competetive pvp team games because i either lose because my team sucks or win because i suck and my team is great. but like 1v1 games i have no excuses for the outcome.
but that applies to all team games, not just mobas. i didnt like irl sports either other than diving ( a non team sport)

oh yeah of course. i used to get very frustrated at starcraft lol. helped chill me out tho i think, because i had to learn to not do that.
as like a kid kid i would get frustrated getting stuck in mario or whatever but thats normal.
towards the end of high school though I just never get mad at games now pretty much no matter what happens. ive just seen it all now so it doesnt do that anymore.
ill play mario maker levels with like 0.5% clear rates for hours and hours straight dying over and over and finish it out without getting frustrated nowadays

i think its mostly younger people where they dont have the emotional regulation (was me),
people who are pros so the stress is up to your eyeballs (first part often applies to this)
or its just manchildren who play games instead of living their life and as a result, never conquered part 1 lol
its usually one of these 3.
i get like frustrated and have to take a break sometimes. but im not mad at all im just like ok, time to take a break im not having fun kinda vibes - Tuneout 🎨
