mpreg butt babies a reality now.

I think its important to state like its very different doing this in a small town as opposed to doing it in a big city too.
if u havent grown up in a small town, its hard to know.
but when you see the type of people who do this, it puts fear in your heart of becoming like them lol
Exactly
Some of these mfs itt living in fairytale town (happy for them)
S*** is just not the same in 90% of the US
like
ur making $40,000, got a mortgage and a baby otw and can't even grow a full beard yet brah your life is over

There was a Reddit thread recently that was like “40-50 year olds without children, do you regret it?”
And all the answers were some variation of “no, I get to sleep as much as I want, watch whatever I want on tv, go to yoga whenever I want. Life is great”
Like dude, your life sounds absolutely f***ing unimpressive and not childfree exclusive at all. Cope harder

A normal part of life is doing things that don’t necessarily make you happy but are either necessary, for the benefit of a loved one, or for the greater good.
Prioritizing your own happiness above all else is a mark of sociopathy and toxic narcissism.

I cannot imagine being 45 and the only thing I have in my life is working and spending money on consumerist crap.
its fine now, becasue its exciting starting a career and setting everything up and having the time and finances to get it lined up.
and i have my parents, friends etc all alive.
but once im middle age with no parents, seeing my friends once a month tops, just totally alone except for someone you marry, which isnt a guarantee. and the only fulfilling thing in your life is buying stuff you cant even share with people.
It sounds like a complete nightmare

yeah im exaggerating a little bit
and I truly do wish them the best
but in all honesty I think it's psychotic to get married before 25 years old at the earliest
learn to live on your own for a little bit, have some personal experiences that you don't have to run by your spouse, develop your perspectives and personality a little
anecdotal, and I mean this in the most loving way possible, but everyone I know who got married early is basically frozen in time
I'll catch up with them and it's like they're the exact same person they were at the end of high school or start of college

yeah there are exceptions but you cant pretend that thats not what happens frequently, in small towns.

I don’t necessarily agree but it’s contextually dependent. Like if your partner becomes disabled or sick, you won’t necessarily be happy with them but certainly leaving at that point makes you a gigantic piece of s***.
I would rephrase it to “you shouldn’t be with someone you don’t love”

yes youre right.
and im tlaking about dating people in your 20s, thats the context. everyone healthy, youve been dating for under like 5 years.
not somebody youve been married to for 15 years who has a stroke

I wish society didn’t groom us to judge everyone sexually. There’s certainly some nature involved in that but it’s overwhelming nurture and social programming.

it def is a lot of nurture and social programming, because you can see how differently peoples judge people sexually in different cultures throughout history
