we thrive in mentally ill people saying uncomfortable and inconvenient things

I am 100% mentally stable. Sharp. At the top of my game, even.

    Exactly

But it makes sense when you realize 95% of that mental health talk is just virtue signaling that crumbles as soon as a mentally ill person does something uncomfortable/inconvenient

Yeah like maybe im more sensitive to it because i have dealt with mental illness and d*** addiction in my friends and family but psychosis and manic phases aren’t just instances of “that dude tripping”. Everyone so easily rallies around the person who sits down and is like “yeah that year i was pretty sad and f***ed up”

i didn't like that people were all about acceptance and mental health until he was actually having a public episode and they act like he was entirely lucid the entire time

Tbf, as a bipolar person going through legal trouble at the time, it made me legit mad this MF has all the resources in the world to get help but just....didn't lmaooo

Yes, a projection of misery, but it's very ironic you say that because I promise you you're giving a celebrity more grace than you would if you actually knew the person

    I seen it 100%

or maybe its because i went through psychosis and it derailed my entire life and i saw him going through it and sympathized and people who are so delusionsal that they think there is a secret nuclear war and think snow is radiation and a secret society of men are after them, might not be in the frame of mind to seek help.

and you’re just rage baiting people or even worse think your smarter than ppl you dont know

Pretty easily understandable why a mentally ill person like Ye would resist treatment

Im not saying he’s given a pass for everything and I don’t know the guy but i know people who have known him for a long time and he does have a ton of resources but also he’s human maybe he hated how he was during treatment and had bad influences around him. I’m just saying people were so quick to condemn him as if the guy with the mask on dropping HH was the same guy who made graduation and mbdtf

People love to scream mental illness acceptance until a mental illness bares its teeth and makes them uncomfortable then it all goes out the window lol

    For sure

I also think people desperately want to sort everything into clean, separate boxes as far as morality goes, so when u have a situation like Ye’s where assigning fault is not so cut and dry, people’s brains short circuit and they either end up acting like his mental illness isn’t a factor that should be considered at all, or on the opposite end, acting like he can do no wrong

  • Stankie

Yeah like for some reason public figures are held to the strictest and highest standards and whatever they say is word for word how their heart is in the past present and future but we’re given the license to say whatever we want in call of duty lobby or whatever

I said this word for word on the HR Zoom call discussing why I dropped trou and laid a steaming crap in the middle of the conference table during the board meeting
