I don’t hate the Izzy/Pyfer fight. At some point the vets have to give prospects a chance. Only fights that make sense are Dolidze, Robocop and Caio and they’re probably already under negotiations or won’t be ready in time. The White House card is gonna make it hard to find matchups near it, everyone is going to want to fight on that card.

i hate it as an izzy stan lmao. he looked good against ddp and imavov but his reaction time clearly isn't what it once was and that was so key to his defense. i also don't think he ever had a great chin but we rarely ever saw him get hit super clean with power shots. one mistake or misjudgment and i think pyfer will slump him

He got caught doing a bad stance switch but ultimately he’s still good enough to beat Pyfer. Sure one mistake gets him out out but that could be said vs a lot of guys he’d have to fight but he doesn’t really have to worry about the grappling as much and we can see a masterclass. A big puncher who doesn’t have great set ups is a great matchup for him.
