Damn I had no interest in spaltoon raiders but now after seeing all the hype I may have to pick this s*** up
I feel like splatoon raiders is better as a digital game than physical since it has a very strong drop in and play style
I may just get this digital

Yeah this game is sick
I’m actually so much more up on the Switch 2 now
I was kind of down on it, I didn’t really see the value in Star Fox and Splatoon Raiders and thought Nintendo was tripping dropping those for the summer games but
Both of those games are dope. Pokopia was/is sick. DK Bananza was great. MK World is cool. Then all the third party and Switch 2 edition indies
The only game that disappointed me was Metroid Prime 4 and I still 100%’d that game lol
I actually kinda see what nintendo is cooking here. I’m all in at the moment
Makes All Stars almost useless
Still would be nice to have it in HD. I hope it brings down the resale prices at least a little

it won’t be full hd but at least it’ll probably be like windwaker where they do they enhance the resolution to 900p
Been playing Wind Waker on NSO for the past two weeks. Put off playing it for the longest cause it’s my fav game of all time, and I haven’t played it in like 10 years. Hoped they would port the HD version by now, cause that’s what I wanted to play, but I got tired of waiting + it’s summer and it’s the perfect summer game with its setting, the sailing, etc.
Man, the game hasn’t aged a day visuals-wise. Still probably one of the prettiest games ever made, and one of the greatest art directions in gaming history.
Gameplay-wise, a lot less janky than I thought it would be, considering the NSO version is basically just a 20 year old emulation.
Also, playing through it makes me realize that BOTW is basically WW, but for the next gen. From the anime style, the barren, post-apocalyptic setting, music, characters, a lot of BOTW just feels like WW, but amped up for the more powerful consoles.
10/10 game, still would put it no. 1 as my fav game ever. It’s the first game I played to completion back on my GC when I was 10 years old in ‘03, the game that showed me what gaming truly is, that it’s an art form that can make you feel all the emotions any other art form can. Before that, I’d just f*** around in FIFA or Sims as a kid, Wind Waker was the first story I truly experienced in a gaming format. Amazing game
where tf the oot remake announcement
I’m assuming September direct with a Zelda 40th celebration section
where tf the oot remake announcement

Nintendo Direct announced for tomorrow for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave
Its honestly insane the type of games lineup Nintendo got for switch 2 lmao, havent seen this level of diverse, niche focused and smaller, more daring and refreshing first party releases since the gamecube/sega dreamcast days honestly, its kinda wild they doing this in 2026 when consoles cost at the very least 500$ and there's a global recession, i deeply respect It. Feels like they live in their own world where all the problems of the industry dont exist.
I love AA games!!!

Nintendo is having an incredible 2026
Im completely sold on the new Fire Emblem after the Direct, I have always had a strange relationship with the series. Games are great no doubt about it... But Fortune's Weave seems incredible. I'll definitely invest more time in this one and the replay value seems insane

and it’s working for them so well. they’ll probably hit like 40m units before they even show us the heavy hitters like 3d mario, 3d zelda, animal crossing, smash, etc.

I don't mind them going all in on AA games... The industry and ESPECIALLY the devs needs it! We can't afford to have all these studios shutting down because companies wanna go grander and bigger... Just give us fun and experimental games!
PS2/GameCube was the generation where gaming was peaking for me... So many incredible niche titles came out left and right
