Nintendo the most influential, got both Xbox and Sony, after countless other companies like valve and asus, to start making handhelds. I doubt any of them will ever have even half the success of the switch. What we have now is too niche, xbox's brand is simply off-putting, and sony will treat it like any other non home console product they've made in the past 15 years.

The only way Playstation has success in their handheld is if it plays the exact same games as the PS5. Nintendo consolidating their handheld and home consoles devs to one platform is still the smartest thing they ever did.
