I'm telling y'all, the way the Switch 2 reveal has been dragged out, that thing better impress once they finally show off its capabilities. The longer they wait the more outdated it gets.

We pretty much know what its capable of already, so everyone can already make a reasonable judgement.
We dont know how the games will look, but the technological advance will be enough to be noticeable on the 1st party games, so even if outdated compared to the rest i figure it wont matter much, especially since we're close to hitting a plateau in graphics. Look at the difference between a ghost of tsushima and ghost of yotei

There's been some leaks/speculation about the internal specs of the Switch 2 but I want to see for myself how those specs translate to reality. I want to see how the games look and perform and I hope that the difference is significant enough for me.

As much as the gaming industry is getting closer to a plateau in graphics, Nintendo are still quite far from that plateau when compared to Playstation and Xbox, so Nintendo's jump in graphics should be more noticeable in my opinion, especially after this generation which has been longer than the usual console generation.

Why Nintendo didn’t do this sooner is beyond me

If you can visualize the difference between late PS3/360 games and late PS4 games, that should give you a rough idea probably. I think switch 2 could be the last true upgrade in Nintendo graphics for a while, cause after that i think they'll hit the same plateau the others are facing rn. Im actually more curious on how it compares to a steam deck with games both support, although i have a feeling switch 2 will beat it

Tbh i kinda like that there arent any highly noteable changes in the design, seems like they really want to follow the iPhone business model. Everything else seems to match up with the leaked CAD models from a few months ago. I want to see the games tho nintendooooo
