For sure would rather have that (assuming it's a better concept than Galaxy) but how am I supposed to hypothesize if I can't imagine it
I guess im saying id rather be surprised and not put out sequel energy into the world, but you're right its hard to make up new concepts since we're not designers. Happens with zelda too ironically, people want the next one to be set in an ocean with a lot of islands. But i think even making s*** up, even if unrealistic, can be fun too! I think a better point of reference is bowser's fury, that's more likely to be referenced in the game's design and its not a full title, so even an open sequel to that wouldnt feel safe necessarily
streets saying we might get that final switch direct this week?
Saw the rumors as well, cant lie, i'd take it just so they completely focus on switch 2 next week and onwards. It would probably only have remasters and such, so in any case its no huge event. Begs the question of why wait until the week before their biggest direct in 8 years
We are officially 10 days away from the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct! Tomorrow we'll be in the single digits. :mariolaptop:

Beggining of Xenoblade X is slow af even for jrpgs standard
aren't all the xenoblade games like that? xenoblade 2 took like 10-20 hours for the game & combat to open up

I’m still waiting for them to announce that FE4 remake, this would be the perfect event for that to happen

Oh yeah I'm the one fiending for a Wind Waker sequel on some wilder more dynamic seas
But I'm not a big brain Nintendo designer so I'm not gonna spend all day thinking of a new concept lol

Think so
I played 3 on release last time

More confirmation we'll get much better 3rd party support on this thing, great to see!!!

Im not even a huge fire emblem fan but im very curious about genealogy of the holy war cause everyone loves that game, so hopefully this remake is coming sooner than later

I don't need it but it would be nice to get the last few announcements for the old Switch out of the way before the Switch 2 Direct.

With Nintendo Switch 2 just one week from its official announcement, this year's annual GDC was buzzing with talk around the future of the console.
One such discussion was around the Nintendo Switch 2 launch date, which according to people that I spoke to at the event falls in June. But that's not all, according to various sources, the Nintendo Switch 2 will launch its games in a three-phase strategy, starting with primarily first-party games on launch.
According to sources, the second-stage will arrive in October-November for third-party studios, most of which are expecting the dev kits for the Switch 2 to be sent in June. Finally, it was said that the third phase for games will be in the holiday period.
In addition to the talk of the three-phase launch plan, Insider Gaming has also learned that select media and creators will be attending Nintendo Switch 2 hands-on next week, where they'll get hands-on with the console and some of its launch games for a few hours.

I completely forgot about the hands-on events for a minute. We finna get a lot of footage from media outlets and other people at the events starting just a few days after the Switch 2 Direct
