Bruh…some retailers here in Sweden are starting to reveal the Swedish Switch 2 pricing…freaking 6800 SEK, which equals 680 USD, or 750 with Mario Kart. That’s just insane and almost certainly makes me put this console on hold for now. I don’t wanna hear no American whine about 450…y’all are lucky.

But the Switch 2 is 636$

Regardless Nintendo is not competing with the Steam Deck... They have always had the most affordable prices so it was easy for families to buy the consoles. This puts them above PS5 and Xbox in Scandinavia.... And those are not consoles people pick up here without a question, people usually wait till the slim or to the end of the consoles lifecycle

£429 in the UK with MK, I think that’s acceptable considering where we are at with prices in gaming

It makes no sense, I don't know if Scandinavia got some messed up price listing by accident... It's clearly not because of the tarrifs as most of Europe was hit the same

I am not sure. Perhaps taxes or something. The OG Switch in 2017 was also higher here than the US MSRP, but only by about 70 bucks. This time the difference is 230 bucks. Sheesh.
