I feel like they need to disable blue shells if that's the requirement for 3 staring Knockout Tour. I literally just got 1st on every checkpoint except the last one because a blue shell right at the end :(

But even worse is Blue shell mid race to get 2nd in a checkpoint mid race. Blue Shell is an essential part of Mario Kart but when just facing CPUs trying to unlock a mode hidden behind completing 3 stars Blue Shells just make it impossible in Knockout Tour.

Just got lucky and unlocked Rocky Wrench in that Knockout Tour race though. Bless up Kamek

No releases at Switch 2 launch.. no titles shown to support the console today.. especially with BO7 supporting the Xbox One and PS4?

None of the game shows this week have mentioned Switch 2

Have to think Nintendo are saving it for a Direct or something soon

Ohhhh lol it’s a story single player open world action rpg. Kind of like Witcher (same devs) but semi-futuristic.

Had a really rough launch back in the day and was basically broken. So it’s amazing they turned it around, and were even able to get it on the switch 2

Just won a Knockout Tour where I got first in every checkpoint except for the first checkpoint. Another issue I have with the 3 stars is the first checkpoint usually happens super fast after the track starts which makes being in first more RNG heavy with all 24 racers clumped together and hitting people with items.

EDIT: I guess it's different per rallys but Golden Rally, Spiny Rally, and Acorn Rally have very short first checkpoints.

You unlock mirror mode by:

-3 Starring every Grand Prix;-3 starring every Knockout Tour; -40 missions complete; -10 Peach Medals

I feel like that gotta be wrong and there’s an easier way to do it

The only problem is we actually technically don't know the exact unlock conditions.

Because this streamer (and often others) already had everything 3 starred

before getting 10 peach medals (or having enough missions done)

and people often have different # of free roam missions complete when unlocking mirror mode

so we don't know the exact unlock conditions. But it's confirmed that you need 10 peach medals and X number of missions

plus at least getting gold on each Grand Prix and Rally

but likely having to 3 star them all

Also it doesn't help that CPUs are actually good in this game unlike Mario Kart 8
