If the July Direct lineup is true, that is insanely weak
Really hope it’s not the case
What you talking about
What you talking about
Do you mean that literally? He’s referencing the July direct games that leaked, if you want to spoiler yourself they’re on the last page posted by hot pancakes
Leak is unconfirmed though
2026 will probably look like duskbloods, rumored animal crossing game, and the next 3D Mario which is exciting. Big year. Probably mainline Pokémon too?
What you talking about
Rumoured Nintendo Direct in July originating from Youtube content creator BeatEmUps making a confident claim that he knows of a supposed Direct in July and mentioning some of the games that will allegedly be there.
Myabe it was just me but if you are stuck on finding more p missions go to the snow area and explore DEEPLY. A good portion of my last 40 have been in the snow area. I guess because you often don't think to explore the off-road snowy hills that much.

There’s also a free roam mirror mode allegedly. I wonder if some are hidden behind that
does it run current triple A titles decently?
I have a big steam library but most of it is pretty easy to run as my computer doesn't have great specs
im not too sure honestly youd have to look up specific games on youtube to see how they run
i know something like cyberpunk runs kinda bad on it but thats more like a benchmark game

they aren't
Source: I only have 1 more p-switch to find
if he also has a gaming pc, steam deck is basically useless IMO
Most PC games weren't meant for handheld gaming IMO
not really
if anything you could say the same for the switch 2 when emulation on that gets figured out lol

Good luck! lol. Idk if I’ll ever find em all. I plan on using those as a stretch goal when I play late at night, a chill look around free roam gradually getting them all

well I buy everything legally unless it's legally unobtainable anymore
so to me there's no reason for a steam deck because I'd rather play PC games on my desktop.
But I am also one who doesn't bring my switch anywhere but airplane rides. That's why a Switch 2 is more worth it IMO because you can't play the Nintendo exclusives on PC.
But unless I am on a plane ride I just browse my phone when I am away not game on the go.
If someone really like gaming on the go I could see a steam deck being worth it.
And obviously people who do emulate a steam deck is worth it (if they like gaming on the go).
The problem with a steam deck is I feel you have to like gaming on the go and emulating for it to be worth it. Because an actual PC is just going to everything way better.

In doubting mainline pokemon. Maybe holiday season 2026

You can stream via steam link for anything not working well
Personally I just stream my library on a retroid when I feel like doing that
Steam deck vs switch just comes down to the games you want to play
I did it. I completed every single p mission in Mario Kart World! Let’s goooooo

this logic doesnt make sense ngl
like if you're gonna say a steamdeck is pointless because you'd rather play on a gaming pc, i can say the same thing for a switch because you can emulate those games on there
if anyones buying a steamdeck they are most likely buying it for the reasons you just listed (emulating and playing on the go). you have to hack or pay a service just to play a limited selection of emulated games on the switch

how doesn't it make sense? I can't play Mario Kart World on steam
That's the point. If I am not emulating modern day games, I can't play Nintendo exclusives without a Switch 2. I can play steam games without a steam deck. I can play them with better performance and comfortability on PC.
But that's why I clarified it makes sense if people are emulating on it or playing on the go. But if I could only pick one or the other I'd pick the Switch 2.
idk whether to get this or a Steam Deck
Would you want to get into any emulation of older consoles? I love my Steam Deck for emulating PS2 and GBA

bro a steamdeck isn't useless just because YOU may have a good pc or prefer to playing games on a pc. OBVIOUSLY if someone is interested in getting a steamdeck they are most likely into playing on the go or are into emulating. this shouldn't have to be mentioned at all
all im saying to the guy that asked the question between a steamdeck or a switch 2 that there's s*** ton more value right now getting a steamdeck than waiting for switch 2 to get games. the same way you're saying "well i can't play mario kart world on the steamdeck" i can say i can't play lies of p or death stranding on the switch 2 right now. its all based on preference

Def some PS2 games I would love to play like Silent Hill 2

Well I disagree that the steam deck has more value, (unless it would literally be their only console)
So I was giving my input

its going to be awhile until we have switch 2 emulation, let alone it working seamlessly
Does this rumored direct leak mention anything about Mario Kart DLC?
Nope, I’m guessing they keep trying to sell Mario kart for a while before they cash in on the dlc
