The slashing swords effect looks so f***ing cool

I expected a kid Icarus uprising total shift, but he took a smash philosphy and instead perfected the available modes from the og game.
I wonder if hes hiding more modes, because right now it has less modes than the original ironically lol.

I also thought it would be a better graphical showcase, i wonder if it started as a switch 1 title.

Of course its very technical, there's a lot of smash DNA here, but its sakurai so its to be expected.

And city trial is city trial, thats the star of the show and it sure felt like it, everything in there looked insane.

Depending on the price i'll get it, seems super fun

I can see them making it the big spring release at this point, they have a nice holiday release schedule already

I swear if only like 3 of us end up buying mp4 after all the fuss, frustration and b****ing ive seen here and online in general...

i've never been a metroid head, but i recently booted up the gameboy advance emulator on switch and started Metroid Fusion. It's so good. and I have zero mission waiting in the wings to play next. so these GBA titles might get be into Metroid in time for MP4.

MP4 isn't a certain cop for me, but if it's a classic then I'll probably get on board

at the moment though, i'm more into 2D metroid than Prime. I never fell in love with the original Prime

Metroid prime 4 has to be getting shadow dropped soon or something

December would feel weird right? Especially since Kirby is so late in November. October would clash with Pokémon. An imminent drop is the only thing that makes sense to me.

yea the kirby riders release date does make me more nervous about MP4 getting pushed to 2026. but i still have faith that nintendo will stick with the 2025 release (it still says 2025 on the nintendo website MP4 listing)

I got into Metroid playing fusion too! Although on an android emulator lmao, i still don't know how i finished that game with those s***ty controls
Thats honestly how i got into most games. I'd play the old games on phone/pc emulators first to see if i liked them, and if i did id actually go buy the new releases. Started with fusion, then immediately after played zero mission, super, samus returns, prime and dread. Never finished metroid on the nes and never played 2 and 3 actually, might have to turn on my modded wii on if we never get those remasters, or i'll wait for nso to very slowly catch up.

About MP4, i think jury already decided on its quality. I don't see this title teaching a 90 meta no matter how good it is, because i keep hearing that it should completely reinvent the series, which obviously Isnt going to happen. Not that i need it to with this game, its been 17 years since the last prime game, and there's no other game that plays like this series. Prime remastered still is so fresh because nothing else compares

If anything, retro can start rethink 3d Metroid with the next title. Metroid prime 4 is "prime" and "4" first and foremost, so thats the spirit It should keep, the spirit of the 3 that came before, but of course modernized and perfected.
They can and should switch it up next game, with new hardware to work with as a ground up switch 2 title

yea i didnt even realize it was tomorrow. so we should be getting MP4 impressions in the coming days. i'm surprised they didnt do a Direct for it prior to making it playable. very odd roll out going on. i cant make heads or tails of it
