The $80 game is a bundle. Game+dlc being $80 happens for tons of games, every platform, for decades.
Basically every Kirby fan owns the game already seeing as it’s the best selling game in the series at like 8m copies sold, so for most us well just be buying the dlc which is like $20 i think
My dumbass still needs to get it
Loved the classic GBA and DS Kirby games
We sleep
There's more hype for the future of pokemon now that in many years
Honestly would have expected you to be into the competitive scene
I didn’t even know or care about Kirby at the time cause it would appear like another childish game to me. Now that I’m almost 40, i look at it like ART.

nah i hate pokemon. just aint for me
Pokémon the 🐐
But I get everyone has tastes
Like you will never catch me playing hollow knight
But I respect everyone’s tastes
@Kr0niic @Bliss
Sounds like you’re both suffering from bad taste disorder, get that checked out.
Silksong and legends z-a are both gonna hit ridiculously hard
Huh I’m super excited for Silksong
Za?

Za?
He’s saying we both have bad taste
And we should both be excited for both games
Hollow Knoght just happens to be apart of a video game genre I dislike
you mean metroidvania? or 2d side scrollers?
I only care for 3D Metroid, 3D Donkey Kong, 3D Sonic, 3D Mario
The only exception for me is Crash Bandicoot and I couldn’t tell you why
Other than Crash games are usually not fully 2D or fully 3D and a mix of both
I’ve smashed n64 controllers n GameCube controllers off the ground n walk n they still worked perfectly. Wore the rubber guard right off both joysticks on the GameCube and they still worked perfectly.
These damn Switch joycons tho… no matter how good I take care of them, the drift still happens. This is my 3rd set

Controllers back in the day had that Nokia 3310 build. Nowadays I get stick drift on most modern controllers sooner or later. Had it on Xbox Series, PS5, Switch.

interesting
my girlfriend is the same way
I’ve always wondered why exactly, I wonder if it’s something to do with how the brain processes images, kinda like how some people are more visual learners, others auditory, and some people prefer hands-on to experiences. There’s something about 2D worlds where my gf loses all interest.
I never payed the first Kirby Air Ride growing up so I have ZERO nostalgia for the game and gameplay for it looked boring IMO
But I just finished this Air Riders Direct and yeah this sold me. This game looks awesome and totally looks like it plays different from Mario Kart. They definitely won’t step on each other’s toes for the type of racing you want
I’m definitely getting this day 1. So damn cool
Cult of the Lamb revealing DLC for next year and still no mention of Switch 2 is why this thing terrifies me
There's no excuse for that to not be a Switch 2 release or to have not had a S2 update. We shouldn't be announcing titles like that and skipping their new console lmao
Watching previews for air riders, this could very well end up being the greatest arcade racer of all time. Game feel in particular seems unparalleled. Cant wait to hear more from sakurai, hes hiding a lot still, he hasnt even talked about trophies!
I've never cared about Kirby and I never played the first Kirby Air Ride game for GameCube but I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw in the Direct. When the game was first announced I thought "what's the point of having two racing games just a few months apart" but I see now that Kirby Air Riders has its own racing identity and controls differently from Mario Kart which is where most of my racing game experience comes from. I don't think I will be buying it but I definitely respect it now.
