Anything over like $350 isn’t worth upgrading for unless the screen is larger too imo
Feels like this would've been something they announced tomorrow
Yeah these 3 hardware related things is something I expected to hear more about tomorrow.
But I guess tomorrow's show is either only focused on games or 1 or more related hardware things will be revealed/announced tomorrow but it's something else like a new PS Portal or at least a new controller and a new plate... Anyway we'll see what happens tomorrow.
But basically what got revealed today is...
The 27" 1440p @ 240 Hz monitor is $350, can be pre-ordered June 12th 2026 via PS Direct and is out 8/27/2026.
The Arcade Stick which is called Flex-Strike is $200 and can be pre-ordered June 5th 2026 via PS Direct or the place (stores) you do usually get it from in EU, Asia etc. and is out 8/6/2026.
And as for the wireless speakers so will they be out late 2026 and more details about them will be shared in a couple of weeks or months probably.
Also did you guys notice that in the monitor trailer so did Sony in a very sneaky way announce that the 1st party Single Player games are from now on PlayStation exclusive? Well they did... Finally!
Yep it's now pretty much confirmed... 1st party Single Player games are back to been PlayStation exclusive.
So Sony will either say "Happens on PlayStation" or for example "Only on PS5 or PS5 Pro".
the hell is naughtydog doin show the game already
Well if they don't how it at the next State of Play then I guess it'll be at The Game Awards 2026
I still have a fat PS5 I haven’t updated since 2024. Need.
Man I'm going to hella busy once the Nintendo show is over... Well if it has any interesting games coming to the PS5 as well.
If not then so will I just update the OP with all of the stuff that was revealed during the SOP show, the SGF show and the Xbox show
I bought ff16 and then like an hour later they announced it’s gonna be free for ps plus catalogue

Play it on PC if you can, it’s kinda bad even on Pro
Had my PS5 for like 6 months now and I HATE the adaptive triggers
Hate that they feel heavier when your player is running out of stamina on FIFA, hated whatever the right trigger was doing whenever you fired a spell on Hogwarts Legacy and web-swinging in Spiderman with it on just feels worse. Makes me feel like I need to press the triggers harder to get a reaction and that doesn't add to the experience imo, just makes me feel like I'm breaking my controllers
I like the sound effects playing through the controller, I can take or leave haptic feedback but adaptive triggers has made playing every game I've tried it on feel worse
