Saw it pointed out that Vivi could mirror Lili. Crocodile being a big bad guy that wanted to run her country from the shadows. Where we have Imu who seemingly is running things from the shadows. Luffy paralleling with Joyboy, but 900 years ago Imu had already disposed of Joyboy, thus Lili never fought together with Joyboy.

her alliance with Joyboy is probably what got her killed in the end

I stopped watching during the Fishman Island arc when it first aired. I catch clips every now and then, but for the most part I've been strictly a manga reader.

The art style and animation of the recent arcs looks amazing, but I cannot get past how terrible the pacing is.

People wishing death on Oda over the Yamato stuff is so stupid. He did horribly manage that with that character. Honestly I don't how he managed to fumble what he was going for with Yamato so badly.

But it was never gender was her issue, she has an identity issue. Furthermore it's a fictional character, not a real person being migendered, don't wish death on the man

The Shogun of Wano had to be a male

There wouldn't of been a reason to hide Yamato in a mask and baggy clothes if she was anything else

Obviously she just grew up learning and wanting to be like Oden, doubt she had any female guidance

And also is a got damn fictional character, who cares

And Yamato character imo was done perfectly by Oda

Oda was clearly showing she had a identity crisis and her role in the arc was executed fine
