Guys I've heard this remade I think this is great because I wanted to watch One Piece after the Netflix show but it's like 1000 episodes so when does the remake release cheers please no spoilers

One Piece anime has been airing since 1999, so I really wouldn't suggest waiting for a remake that will also take years of your life to reach the 1000 episode point

The one piece agenda is insane what in the f*** is this? How did it get a remake while still running, when I can name 5 other animes which could use one so badly? Old One Piece always looked superior but that teaser art gives me hope they are going for something even more nicer. WIT Studio are really good at elevating source material it will be interesting to see One Piece getting an adaptation that does that too.

Toei has been doing the bare minimum from post time skip till Wano where they finally found a new structure

What's baffling about it, it's practically always a top 3 selling manga, and being the longest running of top sellers it's an easy money printer. Other things that are good and could use a proper adaptation are just lower on the totem pole. Plus Netflix is the one pushing this after the live action, they wanna make One Piece a flagship thing for themselves.

Old one piece is prime time when it came to og artwork, and I mean when Zoro had tan skin and before timeskip. I hate they exaggerate some of the proportions of the main cast after the timeskip.

I just feel, despite the love for OP, there’s so many other anime which actually deserved this. Berserk is a top 10 manga and continues to be treated like dogshit. That’s just sad to me. One piece deserves it for other reasons but I feel other animes which are actually complete or never got a proper adaptation should’ve gotten WITs resources. It’s starting to monopolize. This will turn out amazing though, but why would One piece have two animes simultaneously? Lol the VAs going to be repeating lines and s***

It's all about a check, Berserk never getting a proper adaptation. The ones we have got cut or censored stuff, and no studio wants to the obstacle of animating Miura's god tier drawing. Berserk deadass needs a disney budget for a proper adaptation.

Same reason DBZ keeps getting random animes or movies, if you generate a bag you get great treatment.

This is like a dream coming true. Never thought it would really happen and definitely not thought it would happen this soon. This really best time to be a One piece fan
