This was always clear to me every since marineford and i think people are reacting to garp as if he was ever somoene to look up to and admire like a hero which was never the case. now they are just saying oh its bad writing after we clearly see the reason behind garps action. Just agenda s***

basically, 7 years or so after Roger's execution, and 2 years before saving Luffy in East Blue, Shanks helped Fisher Tiger free the slaves in Marijoie and got his scar from Blackbeard. Then he presented himself to the Gorosei telling them that he wanted to join the WG, presumably because he wanted to spy on them. He probably wanted to use the information he got from Roger or one of his top crewmates about the Nika fruit, to either prevent the WG from seizing it, or to steal it because the WG had indeed found it. Either way he managed to get it because thats how Luffy ended up eating it 2 years later in East Blue. do i got that right?

Shanks got scarred by Blackbeard at least 15 years ago when he was 24\. Shamrock was a full God's Knight at age 24\. He's definitely the one who scarred Whitebeard and not their bum ass daddy, and it's even possible that Whitebeard got scarred by Shamrock the same time Shanks got scarred by Blackbeard.
