🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 bro please no
That was the worst Jook song ever made
It was cool in the moment tbh
he doesnt need 2 go left field like niggas be actin but build more on the sound he already established
start more waves and ride less
but at the same time at this point in his career its not really necessary itd just be nice
Drake will be good riding waves as well he just needs to double down on a certain sound tbh
It would be so dope to hear a Drake album full of heavy Memphis-style beats (e.g. Nonstop or No Friends In The Industry), mixed with some hard ATL stuff or some drill instrumentals. Or an album full of more classic instrumentals e.g Sandra's Rose etc.
He can pull these off if he wants but he just prefers to lace his projects with couple great ideas here and there and the rest is just usual Drake mid
to you lol
Yes that’s the point . I only speak from my perspective . As a fellow Lana stan you should understand this
Literally dude did
Florida breakbeat
Dancehall
Rnb
Pop
Electro shi
And people say we need more
Like what?
Man what the f*** is electro shi
This is the biggest reach I’ve ever seen on this website holy s***
The pressure is weighin' on me
Career is going great, but now the rest of me is fading slowly
My soulmate is somewhere out in the world just waiting on me
My chef got the recipe for disaster baking slowly
My heart feel vacant and lonely, but still
I'm makin' the most of this s*** and more
Every single move is like rolling dice on the board
13 songs with Kaytranada beats and a Charli XCX feature
Katyranada drake when
Oh that’s not Lana I need my glasses on
Avi to post ratio in this post is funny af lmao
nwts is incredibly different from clb
nwts is about the passing of time and trying to hold onto a moment while it lasts
clb is about trying to find meaning when the things that used to bring you joy no longer fulfill you the same way
Nwts and clb are artistically on different planets. One discovered a nice formula and sound in rap, the other tried to emulate that same formula and sound & fell flat.
This is why kanye is so divisive. He switches up his sound every time, but still keeps little bits and pieces from those last albums that you can recall and connect to. It makes it interesting, even if it’s not always classic.

This entire section could’ve been on any Drake album post-Take Care and it would fit right in.
These honestly sound like lyrics someone would make up if they were writing a parody Drake verse
the thing about drake is that he DOES "evolve", but he always just dips his toe in the water instead of going all in
like why not make an entire album with an n 2 deep type sound. or a focused carribean inspired album. or an album that consistently has bars like "is there more" rather than 2 hours of stripper/opp talk
theres a lot of directions drake himself has opened up lol. he just doesnt want to take them because then he loses broad marketability
He don't need to evolve or change up his style. His same ol recipe can go for so long as people keep listening. If it's not broken, don't fix it
It might get boring to people who are passionate about music and in it's entirety but as long as the average person likes the same formular then Drake should just keep going.
It was cool in the moment tbh
I’m listening now and the best part is the instrumental break after the first verse
2nd verse is better. But that first verse is atrocious
Listen to clb n tell me that isn’t eclectic
No you go listen to it, most of those beats are made and tailored for Drake. Nothing new, unique or “eclectic” about em.
