Couples who are overly affectionate in public always give me the impression that they're lowkey insecure in their relationship and seeking validation or trying to tell the world "this person is mine, stay away". I feel the same way about couples who do too much on social media, don't need to be letting everybody in your business like that
i try to take into account how the things i do make the people around me feel. so i'd rather make out in my car outside the coffee shop than inside the coffee shop. because i feel like the latter would make me selfish and annoying to the majority of people i am sharing the space with
being real i dont think people who goes through w it is the type to be worried of the retaliation. thats kinda like the point, the fun of doing it after all
and the people who actively against this are prob never too concerned w being cool/unlame either lol
Just keep walking and look down. This is not an existential quandry.
I would do more PDA but I sadly get hard as bricks too easily.
waist band strat bruh
im not saying the extreme responses are warranted, but there is a level of shame the average person seems to lack these days in wanting to show pda.
That is a private thing and historically has been private but obviously as shame has reduced with society, we're more open to these things.
I'm not talking about holding hands or a peck on the cheek, im talking about sitting on each others laps and so on,
these require a reduction in shame to do in public and obviously more intimate things
Where's that picture of The Game

Youre reading way too deep into it which is a common thing ive noticed gen z / millenials do. Making these broad assumptions about people with no evidence

Do u know this as a fact or are u making an assumption? Do u know for a fact that public display of affection was taboo in the past?
I find a lot of people have a lot of misconceptions about how society functioned in the past
As long as theres no nudity or like others said dry humping/excessive touching i dont see the problem. I think westerners are too weird about romance/sex stuff. Its too puritanical which leads to perversion
this couple at the gym was lifting dumbbells, then they put them down and started cuddling in front of the dumbbell rack

ok i agree, i don't have the research to back it but it's an assumption based on what a moral society would look like from religious scripture in reference to how all abrahamic faiths talk about modesty for example
I love my girlfriend Sharon so much, sometimes she doesn't believe me though and she shames me into displaying this publicly to reaffirm our affections in front of God and the world
So now I be eating her ass on the A-train daily, I don't really want to but it's the only way she'll believe me
Tf is wrong with you
pda is fine but there are definitely certain people who exaggerate and are doing way too much, like there has to be a line
or people who do sexual s*** like grabbing n spanking ass on public transport get the f*** outta here with that
you sound immature. people can do whatever they want in public as long as they aren't harming others. slapping and grabbing some ass in public is too much? you sound like a time traveler from puritan times
couples can do whatever around me as long as they don't get upset if I eventually pull it out and start stroking
To play devils advocate, the amount of men who have killed or seriously hurt themselves because they saw a cute couple displaying PDA and thought "I'll never have this" is non-zero. So an argument could be made that excessive PDA has caused a certain number of deaths amongst men. How many? Idk, you've had to ask a statistician.
