what was the point anyways? if i was rich like Wayne, I would simply rest on my laurels and retire the Carter series. no need to tarnish my legacy. the streams and sales wont be high enough to change my net worth anyways and I could tour without a new album at any time
Because he wanted to do music and release and album? 😂
They wrote this like Wayne will read any of this
He just sold out MSG
it was a helluva show
i was there
i was on cloud9, wayne seemed happy
all his fans were rejoicing and leaving all that C6 hate outside the venue walls
dont let the scores fool you, Revival is not better than C6
well yeah but that's the most coughing baby vs coughing baby scenario I've ever heard
Ain’t it funny that people hate Pitchfork until they agree with there thoughts?
It’s a 7.4 anyways
Too generous tbh.
Clash was being too generous with their review (7/10 i think) and i’m f***ing Weezyfthugga

album isn’t as dope as they made it sound but I like a few things they have to say
it is a buffet, grab what you like
it is broad in its soundscape
and IF anything, it IS entertaining with several good songs on it (esp the recently added songs) but the plethora of low-points is what has tainted everyones opinion
i’d honestly give C6 a 6.7/10

6.7/10 in my book
still a very serviceable and entertaining piece of work. with atleast 5 good songs ima keep forever
It's not a good album. But It aint 2/10.
Pitchfork sucks ass it seems like they barely like rap unless its some experimental underground bs

idk why you are trying to appeal to wayne haters. Trying to appeal to them will never work.

i need help bro this week has been rough for me 😂🤣
well yeah but that's the most coughing baby vs coughing baby scenario I've ever heard
it more so speaks to why pitchfork should have no credibility to speak on hip hop albums lol that Eminem album was awful, its more realistic to say that had no good songs on it, yet they didnt and still gave it a 5 cause its Em
i have a problem with that

I think I said before but if you take out The days, Peanuts, Rari, Mula Komin in and had someone else on studio with my gun instead of MGK and Kodak it had huge potential.
Everything else for me I really like especially Lokis theme, Bein Myself Cotton Candy and Welcome to tha Carter.
He’s now adding the generic artists on every rap album with new beats and watch people say it’s still trash. 🐑
"Vultures 2" is more listenable (imo)
Rare Pitchfork W
If they fired that Lphonse clown they would have more
Facts f*** Alphonse rage baiting ass

They gave Recovery a 2.8, I just checked.
Who cares honestly, I was just bantering. All are arse

At least kanye has listenable beats still i guess
I will also say that it doesn’t matter what he brought out because judgement was already made.
Wayne was on Hot Wind Blows and people were screaming he needs to be on those type of beats. He does Bein Myself on that type of beat and it only gets called trash.

you 100% right
if you remove those songs the album is actually good (maybe not C5 levels but close, in it’s own way)
i really think that those bad songs u mentioned instantly tanked the album for people who were just LOOKING to find something to hate on
(and don’t tell me no because even when the tracklist came out people were hating)
