tupacartiI disagree w/ the latter, he seems to be locked in like he was with Pi'erre after they found each other and made S/T. This could definitely drop this year.
Whenever Carti finds a sound, he sticks to those set of producers for a while, and with how muddled and mushed together WLR was (despite it being his best work, I still find it being more of a playlist than an album), I think he'd see that he could continue to refine what he explored on the songs w/ F1LTHY and his new strained voice as seen on King Vamp and Control.
Or who knows, this could be delayed to oblivion like WLR was, but I see this at the very least being like Die Lit where it drops a year after, so later this year 2021 in December or Jan. 2022.
Imagine WLR is the self titled of this era .... f***kkk

& that approach makes way more sense then tacking on another 14+ tracks on the end of Whole Lotta Red and just labelling it as a deluxe

Me too man, the whole deluxe album trend sets off my OCD so bad
I always have to split the original albums & the deluxe's up in my music library, I cannot be having 30+ tracks all dumped there
Plus as we know Carti is super invested in his aesthetic so I'm excited to see the visuals he has associated with this project, it's much smarter to disconnect it from the title of a 'WLR Deluxe' in order to give it its proper dues
But I'm pretty confident (and pleased) in knowing that this won't be much of a sonic departure from the sound of WLR, with F1lthy confirming his part in this, as well as Molly/Not Real being finished up for this project, it's safe to say this is just a re-branded and re-packaged WLR Deluxe under a new guise of creativity

Great track that dropped in the days before Red where we got a preview of Carti's new style & delivery. I don't return to this as much as I do reruns of WLR but this song is amazing. Plus Future snapped on this.
