I get it but its video games, it has nothing to do with it. If anything the reveal is a way to take a break from real life and actually be excited about something. People of all races bond over video games too idk it just feels like if they did this for every protest we would never be getting conferences or reveals

That's a fair point, but I still think people would see it as too soon to celebrate something material during a time of civil unrest. My bad if I came off as harsh btw, all this s***'s been bringing me really down lately

I don’t think you truly understand the severity of this issue. Whether you agree or not, video games are an escape from reality - a piece of entertainment. The point is to not shift our attention from what’s going on right now to something else so that people like you can gawk about s*** like the “sleekness” of a PS5. Society’s attention span is short af as is these days. All these major corporations that are pushing s*** back/not releasing stuff (record labels not dropping music this week for example) are doing their part to help people focus on the bigger problem at hand so that they can potentially do something about it. It’s all about strength in numbers at this point.
