He should address why this pedo thing exists for better and for worse.

I do not believe he's a pedophile but it doesn't help that he never addresses it in a serious and proper manner that properly contextualizes his relationships with younger women.

A manner that actually showcases the humanity of those relationships and really proves the bonds of those relationships was more than the lurid rumors.

I think he should address the deadbeat allegations.

I do not believe he's an absent father. Once again, I do believe he has the writing chops to do this in a way that properly contextualizes the relationship. He does this on Lemon Pepper Freestyle.

I believe he needs to address some of his claims from the beef.

You have to remember that after the beef came a sort of Cold War in hip-hop.

There's a subtle PR war that is being fought as to whose version of events was more truthful between both artists.

A follow up album is crucial to burnishing whatever case you think you have in that aspect. Remember Wacked Out Murals and Kendrick alleging that Drake offered payments in crypto for info?

These things foster a media atmosphere that still views Drake as an aggressor of sorts in that back and forth. We have to remember there's large sections of the public that take Meet the Grahams as a documentary.

Drake made claims of his own that were of questionable accuracy. He largely has failed to burnish any of his claims. The botting claims don't have a smoking gun. Neither does the DV or the Keem ghostwriting. In fact, the one credulous claim of Drake's that is most compelling is the one that he fed Kendrick info on a fake daughter.

Shouldn't Drake have more clearcut evidence of this? He should be able to give us more detail on this operation. It's never forthcoming despite that.

This leaves us in weird place where Kendrick's claims are mostly viewed as spot on and Drake's all get viewed as fiction. This means that Drake is fighting a perception battle that he's refusing to actually compete in.

This isn't the best atmosphere to release music in because people's dislike of you will affect opinions of the music. They'll glean different interpretations of his words because of their different internal narrative of his actions.
