Na this hilarious
I 100% agree. I think HMVM was like the Drake dance album, but MOH feels like he really tried to immerse himself into the dance genre and he did a really good job of that in my opinion. Either way, they are both some of his best albums which is crazy to say
Agree. I believe MOH could finish top 8 in my list which is pretty impressive atp lol

his catalogue too crazy I think no matter what he’ll never top nwts or iyrtitl, could just be nostalgia tho

17 years in bro… no one doing it like him

I think part of it is nostalgia and part of it is those are legendary projects.. he was on a heater man
If I try to decouple my nostalgia and associated memories from the older music then ICEMAN actually be his best album… it’s like 9+/10 front to back 18 songs straight. It’s kind of nuts
He was locked the f*** in on Make Them Pay. Masterpiece of a song. Might be one of my favorite diary style songs on his.

Not to nerd out but honestly you just have to look at Drake as two different artists at this point. The music he was making early on in his career doesn’t really compare to the music now so I find it hard to rank things without complete nostalgia blinders on. I mean s*** Take Care Will forever be my favorite album but it’s going to be 15 years old this year like it’s almost impossible not to just romanticize something that was that long ago

I’ve felt this way really after scorpion. Definitely after CLB. I think he saw the writing on the wall. Just continuing to make “Drake” albums wasn’t going to cut it. I love this evolution he’s gone through in the 20’s.
Just watched a DJ Hed clip and I really need a whole radio rico to happen to find out all the shady s*** that goes on behind the scenes.
Ella’s airplay %
Ella’s airplay %
Imagine Drake getting that radioplay
2 hard for the radio being the most radio pushed song lol
42 tracks on this weeks hit 100 lol
“I’m the only don you know besides Julio”

Tbh this s*** been going on for decades. Ironically streaming (at one point) in my opinion was the honest gauge of what was hot but it like every other medium is too lucrative to not have the music industry get involved and maximize profit
