Runs surprisingly well on a steam deck, way better than Batman does. Mix of high/medium settings FSR balanced gets me a locked 30 so far.

I’ll switch to GeForce Now tomorrow when it’s available, but this is a great way to play. Really well optimized.

Glacier 2 is a testament to what studios can still do with in house engines. They’ve been slowly improving it since Hitman Absolution (13 years ago) and it’s still going strong.

UE5 can shine when developers understand it. Stuff like Still Wakes The Deep, Tokyo Xtreme Racer, Robocop, The Finals are all well optimized and good looking even on console.

But yeah the UE5 name has so much baggage attached atp it’s not surprising they’re moving away from it quickly. I’m sure stuff like Witcher 4 have already migrated over, they just can’t say it yet because of contracts.
