Also shoutout to Heishou Ryoshu. I'm still too early in the game but I feel like as far as the rupture status goes this ID is pretty much perfect for applying it, the haste she gets on her Skill 2 also makes her really useful in focused encounters too (the best part about combat in this game btw since you are given control over clashes). Very fun in MD runs as well when you get a s*** ton of rupture ego gifts

lmaoo, yeah you will understand it as you play a bit more, the introductory chapter does have a few more tutorials as you progress through it too

If anything I think the tutorial is kinda misleading because it puts WAY too much emphasis on chaining skills when it isn't that important (from what I have noticed so far anyway)

Doing the skill chaining was the only thing I understood I'm sure I'll pick it up, but yeah, not the best tutorial I've gone through lol

Skill chaining becomes more relevant based off the ID.

I'm still too early in the game but idk about this

W Corp Don seems pretty good? I just read her skills and one thing to note is that you never want to use her Skill 3 if she doesn't have 10+ charge. Idk how auto-battle handles this but if it picks Skill 3 whilst Don doesn't have 10+ charges then that's hilarious.

I wouldn't worry about re-rolling, by the time you get to Canto 4 you should have a good amount of IDs (From my experience of only buying season pass + monthly) and I feel like learning how the combat functions and build your team is more important.

  • Apr 6, 2025

I'm realising that team-building around rupture is a pain because you really want to maintain rupture count. MD runs seem more quicker the more rupture IDs get I get though so imma continue building rupture.

Also just got 400 faust shards. Only thing I know about the meta is that everyone says that fluid sac is good but I been thinking of getting Seven Faust instead cause it will be nice for my team (I'm sure I can manage without fluid sac)

I was mostly going off of the Prydwen tier list and saw everyone but Grobhammer is higher up on the list. Fortunately the reroll process is stupid fast so I didn't waste too much time lol

    Understandable

I was more looking into what you could build around and it seems kinda all over the place

    Surface level look but:

The One Who Grips Faust - Seems specifically good for Pierce/Blunt teams

W Corp Don - Actually pretty straightforward, seems good with clashing because of the power gain from charge and her S3 seems pretty busted, just don't use her without 10+ charge (Sidenote but this skill is in LoR and I love that it works exactly the same lmao)

Meursault - I'm sure theres probably a usecase for aggro but I haven't found one yet, feels like a strange unit to make use of in the early game

Pequod Captain Ishamel - This one also seems pretty strange. Tranqulity mentioned before how skill chaining is important for some IDs and it looks like that applies here. Seems like a good support if you can make use of her but the condition around resonance seems pretty annoying if you want to maximise her ID. Another strange one to have in the early game.

I did also get The Manager of La Manchaland Don Quixote as well, who looks to be pretty good? Plus, get to use the S1 ticket or w/e it is for Grip Sinclair? Regardless, ain't super worried about the absolute best start or anything since I know it doesn't mean too much in the long run. Will prob be getting the monthly/battle pass as well so I won't be super strapped for Lunacy like if I were to be F2P lol.

Grip Sinclair with S1 ticket if you need DPS. He still holds up pretty well even after all the new IDs released. Also very generic so you don't need to worry about teambuilding. Just slot him in anywhere.

NFaust if you have a strong core of IDs with lots of orange skills. Her bench (and on the field? I don't remember) passive is good for quickly building sanity when you chain orange skills together, but if you are just starting I doubt you have the team to take advantage of this.

Manager Don is the premier Don ID for DPS and can work in any team comp.

I need a better Heithcliff ID, haven't got any at all yet
These are the IDs I mainly leveled up and am using thus far, I'm at 6-34 currently and this 3 stage stretch between 6-32 and 6-34 is easily the most difficult I encountered up to this point. I'm not so sure the synergy is there though

hard to make suggestions without knowing your other IDs but Rabbit Ryushu and Rabbit Outis are a fine, self-sufficient pairing. Grip Sinclair is also fine as a solo ID without needing to worry about synergy, my only concern may be the presence of NFaust giving him too much sanity if you are consistently hitting orange chains. LCCB Ish is fine cause of her rupture application synergizing with the Rabbits, though her clashing power is quite rough so you gotta be strategic with how to hide her by using fast IDs to re-direct attacks or by using her guard to just tank something instead of trying to fight

you're kinda out of luck with NDon, Pequod Yi, and KK Hong Lu at this point of the story just cause their clashing power is kinda bad and they rely too much on being part of the right team

Sorry in advance for the long post.
These are my other IDs. Leveling them up to 45 and finding a way to win clashes with base Heithcliff is the way to get past 6-34, but besides NClair and Heishou Ryoshu all the other characters are dogshit at clashing, so I might be stuck on this level for a while.

OK that's pretty dire. Get W Yi up because he has pretty respectable clashing and can tack on more rupture count. Also Base Meursault probably gives you a better bench passive too.

@shady23axd Not sure how difficult these fights become but you have quite a few IDs on Uptie 2 (So I’m assuming you have quite a lot of threads stockpiled?) . Uptie 3 usually gives base or coin power that can be pretty useful for closing that power gap.

Also Uptie 3 on the Heishou Pack gives you access to their S3 which helps you maintain speed to redirect attacks from your weaker IDs

Edit: Also have you been pulling at all or just saving lunacy?

These are E.G.O. threadspin levels, but all the IDs I use are uptie 3 at least.

I've been pulling every single day since I've started playing the game 18 days ago
