TIIMMY BURNERPerhaps because it's not as much of a monster as it used to be as a whole? We had Chris Brown, Usher, R. Kelly, Ashanti, Beyonce, ECT ECT ECT. R&B was a beast of a genre in the early 2000's. Since then it's fallen back, and as a result so have the 'superstars' within the genre. The talent is definitely still there.

I'm really hoping that we can start seeing more house and/or bounce influenced production in R&B going forward.
