Damage isn’t near as widespread as slide
It wasn’t a diss or anything I like her
it's her second highest charting solo single, next to slide; and still climbing, she OTW
can guarantee you didn't grow up on 2000s rnb anyway
Man said 2000s rnb like that makes you an OG
The uncrowned king of modern R&B returns this year
Can't wait
his feature on DVSN ep was fire
all these white people just called the weeknd rnb lmao
He is. It ain't the R&B that niggas who still listening to Usher, Ne-Yo, and The Dream are thinking of. But it is still clearly R&B music. Just because it has a more pop influence doesn't make it any less R&B. Usher, Ne-Yo, The Dream and many other R&B acts also incorporated more pop influence in their R&B music.
Anniversary doesn’t sound like After Hours lol
Bryson is 100% more R&B than Abel
yea idk what he talkin about, he on one
all these white people just called the weeknd rnb lmao
Deadass
Can u imagine him or franks reaction if they ever said that to their faces
They’re not bad in their own right but compared to their predecessors they are definitely the weakest
They’re not making traditional rnb but neither is anyone anymore tbh. I think you gotta just understand the changes in the genre you feel me?
yea idk what he talkin about, he on one
Read what I said
Bryson is not more r&b than BBTM/Starboy/MDM easily

Yes he is
can guarantee you didn't grow up on 2000s rnb anyway
Usher was a ubiquitous. There is zero chance that anybody in the US who had a car radio didn't hear R&B frequently.

Yea I see where you’re coming from
never heard it till just now
One of her best.
Getting good radio play atm
Drake got R&B jawns after jawns
2019 song of the summer no guidance
A whole disc full of R&B jawns
no guidance is more pop leaning than pure r&b
cmon man. majority of his hits are not r&b songs

They acting like just cause it's poppy that doesn't make it R&B anymore or something itt
Every huge r&b Star transitions to pop idk why you guys bring it up for Weeknd 🙄
Yea I see where you’re coming from
Cause you could argue any era isn’t as good as any era all the way back to like f***in Stevie wonder but I do also get your point
Cause there’s nobody singing on that ginuine early usher tyrese type wave these days. It’s more about the music and less about the voice just like in rap. But I don’t see it as the worst thing
