rdr probably in my top 10 best games OAT

Coming off SA and IV, it definitely feels like the odd one out. RDR2 being so perfect doesn’t do 1 a lot of good in hindsight, it feels like playing a tech demo for what they eventually wanted to make.

Still one of my favorite games oat, but yeah it doesn’t have that wow factor most other R* games have.

Haven't played 1 since Xbox 360 so I might be misremembering some things but I feel like I had less complaints/gripes playing 1 than I did playing 2

2 plot, characters and writing undeniably better, but 1 just felt better to play imo

I played it recently on the Switch 2 and just found it really boring

Lots of travel, short dialogue, small mission, repeat - most of the first few hours is spent going from A to B on a horse, I quit after that

Rockstar have become a joke of a games studio. Cannot believe they’ve rereleased this for a second time when these changes could’ve easily been implemented first time, and on iOS / Android they’re charging $40 for this.

Still no next-gen enhancement for RDR2 is criminal whilst the 15 year old first game gets 4K 60FPS
