Sorry to all the Drake Stan’s that wanted Kendrick to drop a album full of songs about falling in love with one night stands, driving your kid to school high off lean, and having Canadian shooters

Probably other songs that I’m not thinking of where he does a whole setup in the first verse or 2 just to reveal the twist or what he’s actually talking about in the last verse towards the end
I think he just does it too much as a concept, and people are too easily impressed by it like babies when you do peekaboo over and over

He kinda has it on one song each album, i wouldnt personally say thats doing it too much. Its more become a staple in his albums to have that one storytelling concept song that has a reveal at the end
Kendrick my favorite artist of all time and honestly I think I agree with this. Everything about this song is rap perfection. His delivery and the passion he puts to his vocal performance is PERFECTION. The concept and how brilliantly he executed it .. an all timer for sure.
Loved this song initially. Still like it but I don’t think the replay value is as high as it could be down to the concept. The instrumental is the best thing about the track imo
