Sweat and Suit were both released on Sept 13 2004. Sweat was to be more up tempo and energetic while Suit was to be more "grown & sexy".

The albums were two completely separate entities, not a double disc or a deluxe.

With their success (Sweat - 342K first week, Suit - 396K first week), Nelly became the first rapper and only the second act ever (behind Guns N Roses) to chart the top two positions on the Billboard Top 200 album chart simultaneously.
