    using your diaphragm/belly/stomach is actually better for your nervous system overall. You take in more oxygen and your body is more relaxed too. It helps with s***because you’re not over-stimulating your self unlike breathing through the chest(increases your heartbeat)

    instead of sucking in your stomach just start your breath through it, let it rise and fill up before your chest does

    Having chronic anxiety since childhood from undiagnosed BVD (eyes drifting/unfocused disorder) made recognizing this essential in reversing the symptoms

    Taking Vitamin D3 (deficient since childhood also) re-strengthened my diaphragmatic muscles and respiration overall too
