I agree with everything you said tho, 4's goated

Iv and San Andreas they really upped themselves. Iv at launch I realized over time it deserved more love . They hyped up choices though and choice mechanics were goofy

My biggest issue with V is that it never hit the same for me as GTA IV. IV had a much more serious tone, a better story, and way better driving physics. The cars actually had weight, and the city felt more grounded. I’ll admit the missions in GTA IV could be repetitive, but the overall vibe, writing, and atmosphere were stronger.

V looked amazing for its time, especially the draw distance on PS3 and Xbox 360. But the game itself felt too plastic and arcadey to me. The driving was way too light, the story wasn’t as engaging, and the whole tone felt less serious and less immersive compared to IV.

I think the story here will have some goofy stuff.

s*** like this worries me though, looks like some disney channel s***

They do things in cycles. IV was a refreshed GTA 3 with better driving physics/mechanics and a story/vibe that matched 3's darker tone. V was a refreshed San Andreas. This will be a refreshed Vice City

People look at IV with rose tinted glasses but in reality that game was incredibly streamlined in its features and abilities. I loved the story and atmosphere but compared to V, its greatness is grossly exaggerated.

No vehicle customization, limited attire/clothing stores, no aircrafts, no wildlife, no varied topography, no haircuts, no tattoos.

V had better vehicle variety, ocean exploration, random events, missions, collectibles and so much more.

    Like what

    • rpg mechanics
    • las Venturas
    • area away from city a lot less enjoyable to me than San Andreas
    • house robberies and additional side quest
    • soul and writing of V really isn’t there at all for me with less memorable characters and villain

  • The money imprint on the V logo which directly correlates to the theme and capitalistic commentary of the game is one of the best modern day logos.

Can't believe I share a planet with people who believe this isn't gonna be the greatest piece of media ever created

It's not gonna launch bigger than Sonic Mania

    5 was mid

Played both 4 and 5 once and 4 was way more memorable

No but for it's time it was pretty impressive, we're now in 2026 and technology has advanced so much and Rockstar has always set a new standard, so if u look at what they did with RDR 2 in 2018 then yeah I believe this game is gonna be something that won't have a rival for at least a few generations after or until Rockstar decides to put out a new game as ambitious as this

I think the AI in this might be crazy advanced, them boys was cooking
