every time a new AAA comes out, there are like 20 viral shorts of comparing how the walking in mud or water compares to RDR2, or how the car reversing onto a raise sidewalk compares to GTA 4, or how the gun animations compare to max payne 4. and then the comments are s***ting on whatever the other game is and saying 'how have we gone backwards!' s*** is so braindead

Man f*** Microsoft and f*** PlayStation. There isn’t even s*** to play that you can’t get on PC. I’m not very tapped in but I know there aren’t enough exclusives to justify this s***.

No one mentioned driving or physics . They mainly focused on missions , story , writing . Driving was a weak point to me even if more realistic . Activities with people was cool but under developed ( hope it returns). V has best driving and shooting ( I still hope they learn from max Payne).

V missions were so on rails to the point you couldn’t shoot out tires or succeed at missions early in different ways as much . The shooting to me got boring . Trevor meth mode didn’t help either lol . It’s part of why I’m shocked v online lasted so long as someone who got into iv online

All I know is my Lenovo Legion laptop from 2020 can still play new games with decent settings and I’d much rather buy a new PC and miss out on a few games than to subject myself to blatant anti-consumer nonsense and price gouging.

Optimization has gotten really good over the years and only getting better. It’s amazing how good Arc Raiders looks on my 6 year old laptop.

A bunch of people mentioned the driving and physics itt I just read the last 8 pages and then were trying to stay gtav driving is floaty in comparison and "not realistic", which gta4 isn't realistic either

That's why I only specified that part because it's objectively bugged out, objectively not realistic, and then subjectively mainly considered ass

To be honest none of recent ones have felt perfect driving wise to me

Remnant 2 was my s*** on pc

But anyways, if your car irl moves like a gta4 car then you need to go get that s*** handled before you die you in real life - your power steering n disc brakes are all burnt up and probably sumn wrong with the engine

If cars drove like gta4 in general then a major part of the population would still be using horses and bikes just like during the 20s to 50s with the death traps of s*** like model Ts and the og big boats etc. lmao

...But at least we would prob still have good public transit
