Could but wait til official information . All these sites creating click bait for people to argue over
True. 39 million exaggerated, but I think they already reached $1 billion off preorder sales. At $80, they only need to sell 12.5 million and then there's people that got the $100 edition
If you never played Liberty City Stories growing up you missed out

@dope and everyone else who was arguing with me when I said this game doesn't need marketing - allegedly 39 million preorders, that's already $3 billion+
And this is 4 months before launch before anybody has seen gameplay and after the outrage due to price increase, no physicals and no trailer
This game really doesn't need $150 million+ spent on marketing
I mean you’re partially correct. 39 million preorders with minimal effort.
Now imagine how much more money they can make with marketing?
£150 million marketing if it gives access to a billion or greater seems like it would be pretty worth it.
My question to you is 39 million preorders vs 284 million viewers of trailer 1. What are those 200 million + people waiting for?

There waiting because they know they can wait til November nothing changes no physical scarcity
that and Vice City Stories
especially as a kid I could hardly tell the difference between those and the PS2 games
of course could a bit but to me it was the same experience
perfect handheld joints
Remember that vice city stories mission about controlling a cleaning robot?

More money spent on marketing doesn't necessarily equal more sales, especially for the already guaranteed most successful entertainment product of all time
284 million is over 2 years, apparently day 1 viewers was like 90 million. But you're talking viewing a video vs actually spending money
I don't think it's really 39 million anyway, we'll see if they release the official numbers. But I think it's already at $1 billion - you have 15 million+ people playing your game day 1 and it's the first GTA in 13 years after V, the previous most successful entertainment product of all time. You'll get those sales anyway with minimal marketing
The same person itt still doesn‘t understand marketing
