    When this dropped I knew Kendrick was the one. Tried my best to put anyone I knew on. Some saw the vision then others took until GKMC. But it’s new few and far between where I’ve gotten that same feeling from following an up and coming artists

    I’ll never forget one of my homies saying “your homie raps to fast” when I played him Rigarmortus during class transition on the original plastic ass Beats. always knew Dot was destined for greatness, idk what it was about this mixtape…just different after OD

    Is this or GKMC considered his debut ? I be seeing people say both

    Kendrick consistently calls s80 his first album, but gkmc is considered his “debut” since he was publicly signed after s80

    When it’s all said and done I can’t put Kendrick above Wayne but both amazing artists and lucky to experience both of their primes and too much comparison robs us of that enjoyment.

    I can’t believe anyone doubting Kendrick after Hood Gone Love It or Buried Alive which both dropped a little after this

    I got him higher than Wayne for me.. but I think that’s because Wayne has had a longer career and more “lows” imo compared to his prime. If we talkin Prime Wayne it’s a different convo.
