when i first opened this thread today and left my comment and closed the thread i almost immediately got a notification on my phone about another guy getting arrested for murdering a woman and idk i feel like it kinda summed it up for me

Well u see some women say very mean things about men and i think thats really messed up.

started reading this one and had to put it down bc the optimism/ideals of her vision almost made reality so much more depressing for not living up to it.

she wrote this decades ago and its like culturally/socially were still stuck between misandrists pretending to be feminist, myopic "misandry is warranted" defense from men who claim to be feminist and "men's rights"/patriarchal pushback from misogynists rather than everyone seeing the real big picture. thought the people itt cud find it useful

I think hatred across the board is spreading in massive ways. Misandry is really bad, but it's not a singular issue, it's part of a wider issue societally.

With women, it can be a lot of reading between the lines. I work on trying to be intuitive. Not always responding to the words that are being said but interpreting the meaning behind it.
