Sol Chyld, born Haanesha Smith, in 1999, is a 3rd generation Camdenite. She has vast musical tastes and an appreciation for jazz thanks to her Philadelphian grandpop who would only play jazz on their trips to flea markets. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Andre 3000 and Lauryn Hill, she crafts a distinctive sound that seamlessly blends Hip-Hop with a modern Neo-Soul sensibility. Sol ChYld's music explores universal themes of love, self-discovery, and resilience, resonating with listeners who appreciate honesty and relatability in their artists.
